TRENDING INDIAN JEWELLERY

Our Story

Archival India, worn in Australia

Pardesia curates trending Indian imitation jewellery for the diaspora: pieces that carry the weight of tradition, made for weddings, festivals and everyday adornment.

Our Story

Roots, worn daily

Pardesia began with a simple restlessness — the feeling of standing between two homes, India in the blood and Australia underfoot, and never quite finding jewellery that spoke to both.

Festival pieces that felt authentic were an ocean away. What was local felt like a translation, not the original. So we started sourcing directly — from artisans in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and beyond — pieces that carry the weight of tradition, then built a home for them here, on this side of the world.

Pardesia is that in-between space. Not a copy of home, not a compromise either — just roots, worn daily.

Why Brass, Why Us

The metal that holds the detail

Every Pardesia piece begins in brass — the same base metal used for centuries of Indian jewellery-making, chosen for its warmth, weight, and ability to hold fine detail that lighter alloys cannot. Brass takes plating beautifully, whether gold-toned or oxidised silver, and ages with character rather than wearing thin.

What sets us apart isn't the metal alone — it's the hand. Each piece is finished by artisans who've spent years perfecting filigree, stone-setting, and ghungroo work, the same techniques used in heirloom jewellery. We don't cut corners on craft to cut cost.

Premium isn't a price point here — it's a standard: real brass, not base alloy blends that tarnish in a season; hand-finished detail, not machine-stamped uniformity; and a design language rooted in Indian heritage, reimagined for the way you actually live and dress today.

Our Craft

Names that mean something

Every name on this site tells you something about the piece it belongs to — not a product code, but a small clue to what it's carrying. That's deliberate.

These aren't mass-produced fast-fashion earrings; each design passes through hands that have spent years learning stone-setting, filigree, and ghungroo work, skills rarely taught outside a handful of workshops left in India.

We work directly with a small circle of artisan suppliers, not factories, which means slower production, smaller batches — and pieces with actual character.

Our Promise

Made by hand, shipped with care

All pieces are handcrafted by skilled artisans. Minor variations in colour, finish, or stone placement may exist — these are not flaws. They are the mark of something made by hand, not machine.

All pieces are imitation/artificial jewellery. All stones featured are synthetic (glass, acrylic, or cubic zirconia) — not natural or precious gemstones. Colours and finishes are for decorative representation only.

Every order ships from right here in Australia — dispatched within 2-3 business days, tracked, and cared for the same way we'd want our own jewellery handled.
